Meet Michael, our Clinical Director. His organizational skill, experience and competency in providing quality service and coordinating care are evident in his day-to-day activities.
Michael has developed interdisciplinary expertise through academic training, research and clinical experience through his intersectional training as a physiotherapist, a social gerontologist, and a rehabilitation specialist. He holds a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science (from McMaster University) with a Ph.D. thesis on mobility enhancement across the continuum of care for the older adult population. This research skill has enabled him to provide continuous quality improvement to enhance patients' and clinical outcomes. Michael's interdisciplinary knowledge, expertise and skills have helped him to coordinate, collaborate with other healthcare workers, and advocate for our clients.
