As a new immigrant to Canada in 2015, I set out to gain Canadian experience in the healthcare field and obtain the equivalency in education needed to become a Registered Nurse. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Far Eastern University, Philippines, and a Master's from Our Lady of Fatima University in Manila, Philippines.
After completing a Personal Support Worker program, I was able to begin working in a community and long-term care facility with the elderly. I also completed the RPN bridging program at Humber College for International Educated Nurses and have completed all the requirements to become a Registered Nurse by 2019.
Working with vulnerable patients in various environments has given me the tools and expertise to take this next step into the field of Home Health Care.
My passion for healthcare and the proper treatment of young and old patients is based not only on my professional background but also on my cultural background. I have learned from studying and teaching nursing in the Philippines and turned it into a lifetime vocation here in Canada.

Born in Toronto in 1983 and raised in nearby Etobicoke, I was fortunate enough to have had a very integrated upbringing while maintaining my connection to my roots in the Philippines.
Having received my Bachelor of Science – Nursing Degree from Humber College has allowed me to see the need for a more hands-on and connected approach to elderly home care.
On a personal level, when my father suffered a stroke in 2014 and succumbed to the second one in 2015, it taught me how much work and consideration go into home care and how valuable home care workers are.
My education, experience, and professional and organizational skills have led me to take this next step into entrepreneurship. I look forward to serving our community by offering the care they require and deserve.
